Photovoltaic hydrogen production has created a new application scenario and broad market demand for photovoltaic power generation. The current global demand for hydrogen is about 60 million tons/year, and if all of it is produced by pv, over 1500GW of pv is needed. In the next three decades, the annual increase in hydrogen demand will be more than 20 million tons, and about 900GW of photovoltaic installed capacity will be needed every year.
